Army Special Ops remembers fallen soldiers

The Army Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg is honoring the quiet warriors who have been killed in the past year of war.

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — The Army Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg on Thursday honored the quiet warriors who have been killed in the past year of war.

The command that oversees the Green Berets and other units held a ceremony next to the command's headquarters building to remember 28 soldiers who died in war. They include at least one woman, Capt. Jennifer Moreno.

The commanding general of Special Operations will pay tribute to the men, whose names will be added to a memorial wall. Family members, friends and guests with ties to those fallen soldiers are expected to attend.
