Raleigh police on Friday arrested an Arkansas man wanted on charges of raping a 12-year-old girl.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Raleigh police on Friday arrested an Arkansas man wanted on charges of raping a 12-year-old girl.

Court records state that Celso Trejo-Hernandez, 29, twice had sex with the girl against her will earlier this year in Arkansas' Washington County.

Authorities learned that Trejo was living in apartments at 6620 Lake Hill Drive in Raleigh and 1201 N. Driver St. in Durham, according arrest warrants and court records.

He was placed in the Wake County jail under a $250,000 secured bond and scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.

Authorities were seeking to extradite him to Arkansas.
