Creedmoor police were investigating a robbery Thursday morning at RBC Bank, 608 N. Main St. Schools in the area were temporarily on lockdown, according to a police dispatcher.
The suspect, whose identity is unknown, passed a note to the teller and did not display a weapon, according to police.
