Northgate Mall to hold litterbug event

Kids can learn all about why it's important not to litter at a special free event at Northgate Mall in Durham.

Swat a Litterbug at Northgate is at 10:15 a.m. June 16 in front of the Chick-fil-A. They'll have free meal coupons to Chick-fil-A, Yummy Tummy drinks from Coke, stickers, activity books, tattoos and more.

Beauty-Fly, the mascot, will meet and greet the kids. And Mr. Rainbow the Clown will emcee the event and launch a litter hunt.
