Stock Building Supply is buying a building materials supplier in texas that had gone bankrupt.
Stock, which recently emerged from bankruptcy protection itself, said Monday it had reached agreement in a deal for Bison Building Holdings in Houston, Texas.

Stock operates in 20 markets, providing supplies to home builders.
Bison filed for bankruptcy last June.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Stock bought Arkansas-based National Home Centers in April.
