Have you ever overlooked beauty in your own backyard?

It's been called the "crown jewel" of Duke University and a walk along its five miles of paths this time of year only confirms that reputation. I recently took my first stroll through the Sarah P. Duke Gardens. Why did I wait so long?

The gardens contain a spectacular display of flowers and plants. I've decided I need to take a tour at least three or four times a year.
