A Wilson man was killed in a shooting in the 500 block of Fairview Avenue Thursday afternoon.
A witness transported, 28-year-old Brian Mitchell, to Wilson Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The shooting occurred around 3:30 p.m.

In connection with the investigation, authorities are looking for a four-door gray and blue 2009 Hyundai Elantra with Florida tag number “035-VJE.”
