Cary changes plans for troubled intersection

The Cary Town Council decided Thursday to come up with a new plan for the troubled intersection at Cary Parkway and High House Road.

David Spencer, the town’s traffic engineer assigned to the project, had suggested making the area a single-quadrant intersection, which would remove left turns and reroute drivers through an access road.

The decision was made after Thursday night’s public hearing on the single-quadrant intersection, city officials said.
