Free circus tickets for book readers

Kids can earn a free circus ticket for reading a few books at Wake County public libraries.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey and Wake County libraries are teaming up for the ticket giveaway, which started in January and will continue through most of February. Kids ages 2 to 12 must enroll in the program with a librarian at a Wake library. Kids also will get bookmarks and clown noses for participating.

The circus' Zing Zang Zoom performs at the RBC Center Feb. 24 to Feb. 28. Tickets start at $15.
