A Wilson man was charged late Tuesday in a Monday morning shooting death, police said.
Danny Ray Hinnant Jr., 17, of 503 Thurston Drive, was charged with murder and was being held without bond Wednesday in the Wilson County Jail.

James Earl Kearney Jr., 21, of Wilson, was found shot to death at 601 Woodrow St. in Wilson on Monday. Investigators said Hinnant and Kearney had an ongoing dispute over money.
