N.C. 55 closed in Apex at U.S. 1

N.C. Highway 55 in Apex is closed in both directions at U.S. Highway 1 while police clear an earlier accident. Drivers are urged to avoid the area.

Apex Police reported only minor injuries resulting from a three-car wreck, but traffic was backed up significantly on U.S. 1 southbound from Raleigh.
