Silver Alert canceled for Forsyth County man

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons canceled a Silver Alert Wednesday morning for a missing Forsyth County man.

Charles Edward Morton, 82, of Kernersville, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities did not release details about why they canceled the alert.
