Crews fight lumber yard fire

Crews from Lee and Moore counties fought a fire at a lumber yard early Thursday.

The fire started around 4 a.m. at Brookswood Limited, 283 Saw Mill Road. Several stacks of lumber and one building were destroyed in the fire.

Crews were able to contain about 70 percent of the fire by 5:30 a.m. No other details were available.
