Worker setting up modular home electrocuted

A Rockingham man was electrocuted Tuesday while erecting a modular home in Lee County, authorities said.

Andera Reddick, 55, was on the ground pulling cable down from a crane at the house site when the cable hit an overhead power line, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at Central Carolina Hospital.

Reddick worked for Superior Cranes Inc. in Rockingham.

The incident remains under investigation.
