Checkpoints Net 120 Charges

Deputies issued citations for 120 motor-vehicle violations at checkpoints across Wake County Saturday night.

Ten drivers were arrested for driving while impaired, said Phyllis Stephens, the Wake County Sheriff's Office public-information officer.

Seven people were charged with driving with a revoked license, while 12 were cited for driving without a license.
