A University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill wrestler was suspended from the wrestling team after the school said he punched someone.
According to arrest records, Jace Palmer punched someone on Monday and severely damaged two of the person's teeth. A search of the school's student database confirmed the victim is a UNC student.

According to arrest records, Chapel Hill police charged Palmer with felony assault.
Palmer is a redshirt junior on the wrestling team before he was suspended and represented the Tar Heels during the 2024 ACC Championships.
"We expect all of our student-athletes to abide by all laws and serve as positive members of our campus community," a UNC spokesperson said in a statement provided to WRAL News.
