SAS receives award from Pentagon for supporting military employees

Analytics, artificial intelligence and data management software and services company SAS received an honor Thursday for its work to support military families.

The Cary-based company won the 2024 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award. It's the highest award by the U.S. Department of Defense for employers.

SAS is one of 15 companies nationwide, and the only one in North Carolina, to be recognized for its work to help employees with the National Guard, Army Reserves or active-duty workers who are transitioning to the civilian world.
