No injuries reported after explosion at Duplin County feed mill

Officials say no injuries were reported and all employees at a Duplin County feed mill are accounted for after a grain bin explosion Monday morning.

Rose Hill firefighters were dispatched to Nash Johnson and Son’s Feed Mill outside of Rose Hill just before 11:20 a.m. Monday.

Clayton Bryant, a firefighter and engineer with the fire department, says there are five bins at the location and the middle one exploded.

He also confirmed with WITN that no injuries were reported and that all mill employees were accounted for and safe.
