A 15-year-old boy was hospitalized Sunday after nearly drowning at a pool in Raleigh.
According to authorities, officers responded to a reported drowning around 5:23 p.m. at a pool on Schaub Drive.

Residents at the apartment complex near the pool saw several people crying at the pool and asked them what's wrong.
"They just kept saying, 'I want my brother,'" one resident said.
EMS took the boy to the hospital with serious injuries. According to authorities, the boy was with his family when he went under, but they did not know how long he was under water.
"It's really scary," one resident said. "It's one of those things where you think it'll never happen to me or anyone you know, but it does."
