The Nash County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged a man on Monday with a second-degree forcible sex act.
The investigation began on June 4 after deputies received a report of a sexual assault from a local hospital.

Following further investigation by the Nash County Special Victims Unit, deputies arrested 42-year-old Justin Wayne Parham and charged him with second-degree forcible sex act and giving fortified wine, spirituous liquor, or mixed beverages to a person under 21.
According to the Nash County Sheriff’s Office, Parham is originally from Virginia and has ties to southern Nash County, but has no permanent address.
Parham is currently being held in the Nash County Detention Center on a $150,000 secured bond.
