Engineering contractor Danny Hampton has died

Capitol Broadcasting has lost a special member of the family.

Danny Hampton – a former long-time contractor for Capitol Broadcasting Company – has died.

Hampton worked with WRAL for decades.

His work was especially impressive because he was legally blind.

Co-workers say he had an amazing sense of hearing and was an outstanding engineer.
