Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" concert film arrives in North Carolina theaters

"Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour," a concert film, is now showing in many North Carolina movie theaters providing Swifties with a chance to relive their concert experience or experience the recordbreaking tour for the first time.

Demand for tickets to the The Eras Tour has been enormous, causing Swift to extend the tour 10 times so far. The tour will ultimately cover 146 dates on five continents. There have already been 50 sold out stadium shows, with Latin America, Asia and Europe legs coming next. A few additional U.S. dates were added in late 2024, but no tour stops are planned for North Carolina.

According to AMC Theatres, as of Oct. 4, the concert film had sold more than $100 million in advance tickets globally. It will be in 8,500 theaters in 100 countries.

Demand for the concert film tickets led to Swift announcing on her Instagram during Wednesday’s red carpet premiere that U.S. and Canadian theaters would start showing a day earlier than originally planned on Thursday, Oct. 12.
