Harnett County mobile home catches fire Saturday morning

There was a mobile home fire early Saturday morning in Harnett County near Sanford.

Just after 1 a.m., the Harnett County Sheriff's Office said several units were dispatched to a fire at the home on Milton Welch Road.

Five fire departments responded, including the Fort Liberty Fire Department.

The WRAL Breaking News Tracker was at the scene around 3 a.m., and smoke could be seen pouring from the windows.

No one was injured. The homeowner and his dog both got out safely.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
