Student sexually assaulted at N.C. State Monday night, police say

An NC State student was sexually assaulted Monday night on N.C. State’s campus.

According to campus police, the assault happened at Lee Hall.

The suspect was described as a white male between the ages of 18 and 20, 6 feet 6 inches tall, weighs between 141 and 160 pounds and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt.

Police said the man and the victim knew one another through a dating app and the suspect was also a student.

The suspect has not been apprehended.

Police said the incident is unrelated to a sexual battery incident at Owen Hall on Saturday.
