I-95 reopens after vehicle fire closes all lanes

All lanes of I-95 southbound were closed on Sunday morning after a vehicle fire caused major delays near US-70 in Johnston County.

A vehicle was reportedly on fire at the high-traffic interchange around 11:34 a.m., just one mile past Exit 97.

All lanes have since been allowed to reopen.

The impact to traffic is high and is expected to continue causing delays through at least 1:30 p.m.
