Museum of Natural Sciences
The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh boasts an impressive collection of interactive exhibits, including the iconic Acrocanthosaurus dinosaur and the Living Conservatory, which houses an array of butterflies and tropical plants. Enjoy participating in hands-on experiments and exploring the Discovery Room, where children can engage in scientific exploration. Marbles Kids Museum
Also downtown, Marbles Kids Museum blends education and play with hands-on exhibits and activities. From building structures with giant foam blocks to experimenting with water currents and circuits, children can immerse themselves in a world of creative exploration and problem-solving. Advanced admission tickets are required for entry, and are available for purchase online. Admission is $9 for adults, children and seniors, but admission is not required to visit the Marbles Store.

North Carolina Museum of Art (Raleigh)
The North Carolina Museum of Art showcases a diverse collection of artwork spanning various time periods and styles. While exploring the galleries, families can engage in art-focused activities and discover the stories behind the masterpieces. Outside, enjoy additional outdoor art installations, sculptures, and walking trails, providing a delightful blend of art and nature. Ticketed events are also available for purchase online.

Flour Power Cooking Studios
Children and adults alike can cook up a good time with Flour Power’s variety of programs and events including birthday parties, weekly classes, camps, adult classes, corporate events, kids night out events and etiquette classes. Classes and programs are great ways for participants of all ages to learn hands-on cooking skills while learning recipes they can try at home. View events and ongoing programs available online.
