There is a chance for some light rain in our southern counties Monday morning.
Lows across our northwestern counties will cool to the upper 30s Monday night. Some spots could see a few areas of patchy frost.
Tuesday will be similar to Monday, with sunny skies and a high of 69 degrees.
This week will be on the cooler side for this time of year.
"Most of next week is looking cooler than normal," said WRAL Meteorologist Mike Maze.
Temperatures are not expected to break 70 for the rest of the week, hovering around the mid 60s.

Our next chance for rain comes Wednesday.
As we approach the end of the week we will have a significant chance for rain, though at this point it doesn't appear to be serious.
This month has been the second wettest April on record, with 5.87 inches of rain.
