Tax Day 2025 freebies and deals

Every year on Tax Day, many restaurants and retailers offer freebies and discounts. Read on for the list of offers this year on April 15, 2025.

Keep in mind that these offers are only valid at participating locations. Some of these deals are only valid on April 15 while others are available on additional days.

2025 Tax Day Deals

BJ's Restaurant: Get $10 off a $40 purchase on Tuesday, April 15 for dine-in or when you use the promo code 10OFF40 at checkout for takeout orders at participating locations. Cannot be redeemed with any other offers or discounts. They are also offering $5 Pizookies® every Tuesday at participating locations.

Brusters of NC - Durham Rennaisance Parkway: Offering Customer Appreciation Night on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 6-9 pm including $4 Smal Dishes or Cake Cones and $5 Small Waffle Cones. Buffalo Wild Wings: Rewards Members get BOGO traditional wings for dine-in only every Tuesday when you provide your phone number linked to your rewards account to your server.

Burger King: Get a Cheeseburger for 1 cent with a $1+ purchase in the BK® App or on bk.c om. Valid from 4/14/2025 to 4/20/2025 at participating locations.

California Pizza Kitchen: CPK Rewards members get $10 off a $40 purchase on April 14-17, 2025 at participating locations.

Caribou Coffee: Get 50% off all Energy drinks on April 15 for in-store and order ahead at participating locations, according to an e-mail sent to subscribers on April 15. Check their app for details.

Chick-fil-A for Greater Triangle Area: Participating Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Greater Triangle Area are giving away free large Chick-fil-A Waffle Potato Fries® Monday, April 14 through Friday, April 18 with the offer in the Chick-fil-A® App. Limit 1 per person. Open their app to claim the reward. Make sure your location settings are turned on.

Dunkin: Dunkin’ Rewards members get a $3 Avocado Toast with a beverage purchase April 15-21 at participating locations with the offer in their app or on their website. Limit 1 per member.

Great American Cookies: Buy one Original Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake Slice and get one free in-store only on 4/15/2025 at participating locations. Valid only on Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake slices. Mention the offer in-store to get this deal. See the details on their press release.

Kona Ice: Head to a participating Kona Ice truck for a free Kona Ice at their annual Chill Out Day on April 15, 2025. See their website for locations and the time frame for the event at each truck.

Krispy Kreme: On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, order any dozen doughnuts online and get a second Original Glazed® dozen free (other than sales tax) when you use the code TAXBREAK at checkout. Valid for in-store orders, pickup or delivery at participating locations.

Marco's Pizza: Marco’s has new Pepperoni Bread available starting April 14 for $5 as part of the Marco’s More Menu when you spend $7.99 or more.

Mellow Mushroom: Pretzel Bites are $4.20 when you use the code MEL420 at checkout or redeem for dine-in at participating locations through April 20, 2025. Limit 5 per order. It's highly likely that this promotion has nothing to do with tax day, but hopefully you can still enjoy it.

Planet Fitness: From April 12 through April 19, 2025, Planet Fitness members and non-members can get a free HydroMassage in its Black Card Spa® at participating lcoations. See the details on their press release.

Potbelly Sandwich Works: On April 15, 2025, buy any Big or Original sandwich, get another Original free with the promo code BOGO at participating locations.

Ruby Tuesday: Offering select Burgers & Sandwiches with fries for $5.99 including the American Smashed Burger, Ruby’s Cheeseburger, Impossible Burger, andChicken & Fish Sandwiches. In addition, kids 12 and under eat free after 5 pm with the purchase of a full-priced adult entree. Valid for dine-in only.

Shake Shack: Through April 27, 2025, get a free Black Truffle Burger, Black Truffle ‘Shroom or Black Truffle Parmesan Fries when you spend $10.40 and use the code TRUFFLETAX at checkout at participating locations. Smoothie King: On April 15, Smoothie King Healthy Rewards Members can get $3 off your $15 purchase and $4 off your $20 purchase.

Sonny's BBQ: On Tuesday, 4/15/25, get $10.99 St. Louis Rib Dinners with your choice of Sweet & Smokey or House Dry-Rubbed Ribs, two Sidekicks and either cornbread or garlic bread.

The UPS Store: Offering a coupon for $5 Off $25 worth of Shredding Services now through May 20. Customers can drop off their documents at shredding and recycling receptacles located at participating locations.

Tiff's Treats: Offering $15 dozens on April 15 when you use the code TREATTAX at checkout for online or mobile orders, according to the e-mail sent to subscribers on April 15, 2025. Limit 5.

Tijuana Flats: On Monday, 4/14/2025 (not April 15), get one free Street Taco when you make a full priced Adult Entree purchase and use the code TAXDAY25 at checkout at participating locations. Valid for dine-in, carry-out, app/online and delivery orders.
