Fayetteville police have identified two suspects in connection to a road rage shooting.

The shooting happened July 11 on Cliffdale Road near Pritchett Road at a busy intersection that includes Cliffdale Elementary School and a post office.

Police said within the victim's car, there were two adults and a baby in a car seat.

Antonio Stearns was shot in the shoulder and leg. Chamonnie Riley was also inside the car, but she was not shot. The baby was not hurt.

Police said Stearns returned fire during the ordeal. Stearns is expected to recover from his wounds.

Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a gold in color Jeep Cherokee that headed back down Skibo Road. The vehicle has been located and the suspects have been identified.

Police said 27-year-old Demetrius Tydre McNeill of Hope Mills and 45-year-old Alphonza Demorris Teasley of Eastover have been charged with Assault With a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury, Shooting into Occupied Vehicle and Felony Conspiracy.

McNeill is described as 5’07”, 140lbs, with black hair, and brown eyes, and has tattoos on his face, neck and arms.

Teasley is described as 5’10”, 155lbs, bald with brown eyes, and has multiple tattoos on both arms.

Both are considered armed and dangerous.
