The Raleigh Police Department said an arrest has been made in connection to a fatal shooting Tuesday night.
The shooting took place in the 6600 block of The Lakes Drive.

Raleigh police said officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 10:15 p.m.
When they arrived on scene, officers said they located 22-year-old Geovanni Emilio Valerio suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital where he later died
27-year-old Rodney Vaughn Stotts Jr. has been charged with murder in connection with this incident.
He has been transported to the Wake County Detention Center.
