A few egg hunts coming up this weekend:

  • Dino Egg Hunt (North Carolina Museum of Life and Science, 433 W. Murray Ave., Durham) - Excavate fossils, take prehistoric selfies and hunt for dino eggs at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham. The event runs from April 13-17 and pre-registration and museum admission is required. Tickets are $7 per person and each ticket get you five dino eggs. Tickets are required for anyone 3 years old and up. Children 2 and under are admitted free with a paying adult.
    • Wilson NC 11th Annual Unity In Community Easter Eggstravaganza (11th Annual Wilson NC Community Easter Eggstravaganza, 1802 Bishop L N Forbes St S E, Wilson) - This Wilson church will host a community Easter egg hunt on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. There will be free food for the kids plus more fun.
      • Community Easter Egg Hunt and Lunch (Christ the King Community Church, 4405 Hope Valley Road, Durham) - Christ the King Church's Community Easter Egg Hunt is on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until noon. There will be games, hot dogs for lunch, tons of hidden eggs to find.
        • Hoppin' Around Downtown Fayetteville (Downtown Fayetteville, Downtown Fayetteville, Fayetteville) - Honey, the Bunny, will be hopping around to Downtown Fayetteville for the Hoppin Around Downtown Scavenger Hunt on Saturday. Take a picture with them or see if you can find all the paper eggs located at downtown businesses during the Hoppin Around Scavenger Hunt! One lucky participant will win a prize.

          The North Carolina 'Cuegrass Festival (Fayetteville Street Downtown Raleigh, 100 Fayetteville St., Raleigh) - The Pit's 'Cuegrass Festival is making its triumphant return after two years. The festival will is also moving from the Warehouse District to Fayetteville Street. Enjoy live bluegrass music, BBQ and local beer on Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. ⁠

          The Price is Right Live! (Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivian St., Durham) -Everyone's favorite game show stops by DPAC on Friday night. Randomly-selected contestants play everyone's favorite games like Plinko, Cliffhangers, The Big Wheel, and even the fabulous Showcase.

          Pop-Up Raleigh market (Trophy Brewing and Taproom (Maywood), 656 Maywood Avenue, Raleigh) - Pop-Up Raeigh holds its vintage market at Trophy Brewing on Maywood Avenue on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. As always, dogs are welcome at this free family-friendly event.

          Triangle Pop-Up Market at Boxyard RTP (Boxyard RTP, 900 Park Offices Drive, Durham) - Join Triangle Pop-Up at Boxyard RTP, and their highly curated selection of accessories, clothing, home goods, custom gifts and more by local artists & makers on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

          Spring Patchwork Market (Durham Armory, 220 Foster St, Durham) - Shop more than 60 handmade makers during this event at Durham Armory on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.

          A WRINKLE IN TIME by Madeleine L'Engle (PlayMakers Repertory Company, 120 Country Club Rd., Chapel Hill) - PlayMakers presents this show which follows Meg Murray, a short-tempered middle school math nerd, who drags her brother off through time and space to find their missing father and save humanity. See it on stage through April 16.

          Special Event: Shane Gillis (Goodnight Comedy Club, 861 W Morgan St, Raleigh) - Shane Gillis is a stand-up comic based out of New York City, recently named an "Up-Next" Comic at Comedy Central's 2019 Clusterfest in San Francisco and a "New Face" at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. See him on stage at Goodnights Comedy Club Thursday through Saturday.

          Tribute to Legends with BEE GEES NOW! The Music of the Bee Gees (Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - On Saturday night, enjoy music from Bee Gees NOW! and The Stranger: Billy Joel Tribute at Booth Amphitheatre.

          Tribute to Legends with Marcus Anderson's LET'S GO CRAZY SHOW: The Music of Prince (Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - This show features music from the one and only Prince.
