3 charged in Wake Forest shooting

Three people are facing charges after a Thursday night shooting in a Wake Forest residential area, Wake Forest Police announced.

Jamel Antonio Yarborough, 18, from Spring Hope, Alishiah Jaliah Dunston, 20, from Louisburg, and Tyrek Donte Willis, 23, also from Louisburg, are facing four charges related to the shooting on East Nelson Avenue.

All have been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a firearm into occupied property and discharging a firearm in the city limits.

One person was shot and taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to town officials.
