The Louisburg College softball team escaped a bus fire Thursday.
A college representative said while on the way to a game in Alabama, the teams charter bus blew a tire in South Carolina and that caused a fire.

It eventually spread to the inside of the bus and the fire department was called out.
The coach, Eric Lee, said he had to talk to his 20 players who were shaken from this.
"You've got 20 kids standing in front of you that are visibly shaken and there's nothing you can say to them other than 'We are okay. You are okay,'" said Lee.
Despite the large fire, no players were injured.
The coach has since started a go-fund me page with a goal of 10-thousand dollars.
More than half has already been pledged in less than a day.
