The Pour House Music Hall & Record Shop is temporarily closing amid a COVID-19 outbreak on staff. The business said it will reopen and continue hosting shows on Sept. 8.

"We knew this day would eventually come," read a post on the venue's Facebook page. "Half our team has Covid. We will be shutting down for two weeks and plan to reopen the record shop and resume shows on Wednesday, September 8th."

The venue says anyone with tickets for shows originally scheduled through Sept. 7 will automatically get a refund.

"We are working on rescheduling all of these shows, so stay tuned for announcements."

In March, The Pour House welcomed back music fans for the first time in nearly a full year.

The record shop's website is still up for business. The Pour House, at 224 S. Blount Street, has been holding concerts for more than a decade.
