We're not quite done with the rain yet in central North Carolina.
But, the good news is that the rain chances for Saturday have diminished, according to WRAL meteorologist Mike Maze.

Drier air will come in on Saturday, with dew points in the 60s.
"It won't have that really rough, humid feel," described Maze.
Highs will be in the upper 60s on Saturday.
Then, storms will return again on Sunday with a 40 percent chance for rain.
Sunday will start with partly cloudy skies in the morning, before storms arrive move into the Triangle around the afternoon.
"It doesn't look all that menacing for your Sunday, so it's not going to be a ruined weekend," said Maze.
Since June 1, Raleigh has seen nearly a foot of rain - 11.35 inches. Fayetteville has seen 9.41 inches of rain within that same time frame. Raleigh officially saw 3.38 inches of rain on Thursday.
The Triangle's drought conditions have improved significantly.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week also bring a small chance for showers, with highs in the low 90s each day of the week.
"It'll feel like July," said Maze.
