The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man, John Robert Ankner
Ankner, 54, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

He is described as a white man who stands 6 feet 1 inches and weighs about 190 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
Ankner was last seen in the 5800 block of Briarwood Drive in Raleigh. He could be driving a white GMC truck with the North Carolina license plate VR40702.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Wake County Sheriff's Office.
