Drivers should be cautious of potentially slick roads on Saturday morning, as temperatures dove into the 20s, with wind chills in the teens, after rainy and stormy weather left water behind to be frozen overnight.
Patches of ice on Triangle roads brought North Carolina DOT crews out to spread sand early Saturday morning.
