Raleigh learning lab offers virtual summer programs for teens

The WELL, which provides tutoring, camps and other programs for teens in Wake County, is hosting virtual summer camps this year.

The learning lab will offer four weeks of programming for rising seventh to 10th graders. Camps start the week of July 6 and cost just $25 per week.

Topics include Art in Action, Real World Challenge, Exploring the World through Model UN and STEM in Action. Themes change each week and include two-hour morning and afternoon sessions for teens to participate in.

"We will strive to make our workshops as engaging and interactive as feasible," according to The WELL's website.

The space, which is next to Broughton High School, usually offers in-person programs for teens each summer, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to make the switch to online.
