A high-speed chase through at least two counties ended Tuesday night with a suspect taken into custody.
Raleigh police assisted Butner Public Safety officers in a chase that originated in Granville County and ended in Wake County after 9 p.m. No shots were fired and nobody was injured in the case.

Officials said the suspect's vehicle ran off the road, which led to a foot case. The driver and passenger in the vehicle are now in custody.
Law enforcement were still investigating the incident Tuesday night and did not have further details.
