Silver Alert canceled for missing Vance County man

UPDATE: The Silver Alert has been canceled for George Anderson Pollard. No information was released on his status.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man.

George Anderson Pollard was last seen at 1567 Satterwhite Point Rd. in Henderson. He is 85, 6-foot-4 and 149 pounds with medium gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a brown hat, black jacket, gray pants and black shoes.

He is is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

He was driving a white 1999 Lincoln Continental with NC license plate CJK-4463.
