SILVER ALERT: Durham PD asks for help finding missing, endangered man

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing, endangered Durham man, Matthew Brooks.

Residents are asked to be on the lookout for Brooks, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

He was last seen the week of December 2, 2019 on Crutchfield Street in Durham, and may be in the area of Urban Ministries on 409 Durham Street.

He is described as a 32-year-old white man, 5'2" and 250 pounds, with short brown hair and blue eyes. His hair may be much shorter now that it appears in the photo.
