Missing Durham boy found safe at Northgate Mall

A missing 11-year-old Durham boy was found safe Friday night at the Northgate Mall.

Durham police said 11-year-old Leland Crider was last seen at about 3:15 p.m. in the 4200 block of Bluffs Lane, near the Eno River.

Following a search that involved law enforcement and Crider's neighbors, authorities located the boy at the mall just before 11:30 p.m.
