Thanksgiving Day hours for grocery & drug stores 2018

Just in case you have to make a last minute trip to the grocery or drug store on Thanksgiving Day, here are the hours for our local stores.

Many grocery stores will be open through the early afternoon, but some are closed the entire day.

These hours are valid Thursday, November 22, 2018. Keep in mind that some individual stores may be open later or close earlier. Most of the hours posted below are from the store sales ads this week or listed on their websites.

Grocery Stores (alphabetical order)

Aldi will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Carlie C's will be open on Thanksgiving Day until 2 pm.

Dollar General (most stores)will be open regular hours on Thanksgiving Day.

Earth Fare will be open until 3 pm on Thanksgiving Day.

Food Lion will be open until 4 pm on Thanksgiving Day.

Harris Teeter will be open until 2 pm on Thanksgiving Day. They will reopen on Friday, November 23 at 8 am.

Lowes Foods will be open until 4 pm on Thanksgiving Day.

Publix stores and pharmacies will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Sprouts will be open from 7am until 4pm on Thanksgiving Day.

Target: Most stores will be open from 5 pm on Thursday, 11/22 until 1 am Friday, 11/23. They will then reopen on Friday, 11/23 at 7 am.

The Fresh Market will be open until 3 pm on Thanksgiving Day.

Trader Joe's will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Walmart: Most Walmart stores will be open regular hours on Thursday. See your specific location for details regarding the pharmacy and store hours.

Whole Foods will be open from 7 am until 3 pm on Thanksgiving Day.

Drug Stores

CVS: Most CVS stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day but hours may vary from store to store. The Pharmacy hours at stores will vary. Contact your store for specific hours on Thursday.

Rite Aid: Most Rite Aid stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day. Contact your store for specific hours on Thursday. Pharmacy hours will vary.

Walgreens: Most Walgreens stores will be open regular hours on Thanksgiving Day. Some pharmacy locations will be open. Check with your store for details.
