Flooding is possible from Kansas to Wisconsin, as well as along the central and western Gulf Coast. Thunderstorms are expected from the southwest to northeast across the Plains and the Midwest. Downpours may lead to flash flooding across several states from Kansas to Wisconsin.

Storms are also expected across the Gulf of Mexico and Louisiana into southeastern Texas. In Florida, a few showers and thunderstorms are likely. A second system approaching from the southern Bahamas may become better organized as it spreads rain and some thunderstorms across the southern half of the state over the weekend.
