Officials are investigating after a soldier was found dead in his barracks room on Friday.
According to officials at Fort Bragg, Pfc. Justin Kriska, 24, of Saint Louis, Missouri was a wheeled vehicle mechanic assigned to 1-319 Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 3nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division.

Military officials do not suspect foul play in Kriska's death, which is under investigation.
Kriska joined the Army in May 2017. Upon completion of Basic Combat Training, Advanced Individual Training and the Basic Airborne Course, he was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division in April 2018. Pfc. Kriska’s awards decorations include the National Defense Service Medal and the Parachutist Badge.

Jeffrey Munn. “Kriska’s time with us was short but he will always remain in our hearts and thoughts as we move forward to accomplish the mission and live in honor of him."
