Restaurants plan Negroni Week specials

The Triangle is preparing to celebrate the Negroni cocktail next week.

Imbibe Magazine's Negroni Week is a week-long celebration of one of the world's greatest cocktails and an effort to raise money for nonprofits around the globe. A Negroni is a cocktail made from gin, vermouth and Campari.

As part of Negroni Week,Hummingbird,Mandolin, Dram & Draught,Foundation, The Blind Barbourand The Crunkleton will be donating $1 from every Negroni sold to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Carolinas Chapter from June 4-10.

To help kick things off,Hummingbird will be hosting a kick-off party at its sister event venue, Whitaker and Atlantic on Sunday. Tickets are $25 and include Hummingbird's Negroni and Italian snacks by PoshNosh Catering. There will also be music from a DJ and silent Fellini films. Proceeds from this event will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
