"Find some reason to get outside this weekend -- it is going to be gorgeous," said WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner.
Sure enough, as spotty rain moves out of the area on Friday, the Triangle will be left with a dry, sunny weekend. There could be a couple of spotty showers on Friday afternoon, according to Gardner, but the evening will be relatively dry. "There's no need to cancel any outdoor plans tonight," said Gardner.
