A man was seriously burned when fire broke out in the garage of a home on Lake Blanchard Drive in Johnston County Thursday night.
Two other adults and three children who also live there were not hurt.

The injured man was transported to the UNC Hospitals Burn Center.
Authorities say the cause may be related to an appliance.
