Fire damages vehicles at Durham metal recycling yard

Several vehicles were damaged by a fire Wednesday morning at a metal recycling yard in Durham.

Durham Fire Department officials said the fire was spotted just before 9 a.m. by firefighters who were driving by and saw smoke.

The fire was under control in about 18 minutes.

No buildings were damaged in the fire.

The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
