A Wake County inmate who escaped from work assignment on Monday was captured Tuesday, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Larry J. Locklear, 66, is a minimum custody inmate serving a sentence at Wake Correctional Center as a habitual felon. His projected release date was October 2021.
